The terms that govern your use of BandBlaze, including accounts, content, and provider listings.

Welcome to BandBlaze. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the BandBlaze platform, website, applications, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using BandBlaze, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
1. About BandBlaze
BandBlaze is a platform designed to help independent musicians and music communities organize projects, discover resources, connect with providers, and collaborate around real-world music activities. BandBlaze may include: resource directories, provider listings, project planning tools, community features, messaging tools, subscription services, and user-generated content. Some platform features may evolve over time.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use BandBlaze. By using the Service, you represent that: you can legally enter into these Terms; the information you provide is accurate; and you will comply with applicable laws and regulations.
3. User Accounts
You may need to create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for: maintaining the security of your account, safeguarding your password, and all activity occurring under your account. You agree not to: impersonate another person or business, create misleading accounts, share accounts with unauthorized users, or use automated systems to abuse the platform. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Provider Listings & Resource Information
BandBlaze may display provider listings, venue information, studios, photographers, rehearsal spaces, and other music-related resources. Some listings may: be submitted by users, be claimed by businesses, contain publicly available information, or be imported from third-party sources. BandBlaze does not guarantee: accuracy, availability, business legitimacy, pricing, licensing, safety, or quality of services. Users are responsible for independently verifying providers before conducting business.
5. Claiming Listings
Businesses or representatives may claim provider listings. By claiming a listing, you represent that: you are authorized to act on behalf of that business or organization; the information you submit is accurate; and you will maintain truthful and up-to-date listing information. BandBlaze reserves the right to approve, reject, revoke, or review listing claims at any time.
6. User Content
You retain ownership of content you submit to BandBlaze, including: profile information, posts, comments, project details, provider information, images, messages, reviews, and uploads. By submitting content, you grant BandBlaze a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, modify, distribute, and promote your content in connection with operating and improving the Service. You are solely responsible for content you submit.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to: violate laws or regulations; infringe intellectual property rights; harass or threaten others; submit fraudulent or misleading information; spam users or providers; scrape or harvest platform data; upload malicious code; interfere with platform operations; manipulate reviews, listings, or rankings; or impersonate artists, venues, or businesses. BandBlaze may remove content or suspend accounts at its sole discretion.
8. Community Features
BandBlaze may include community tools such as: public posts, discussions, messaging, comments, and collaborations. You understand that: user interactions are solely between participants; BandBlaze is not responsible for disputes; and content posted by users does not represent BandBlaze’s views. We reserve the right to moderate or remove content that violates these Terms or community standards.
9. Projects & Planning Tools
BandBlaze provides organizational tools intended to help users plan music-related activities. BandBlaze does not guarantee: successful bookings, project completion, business outcomes, provider responsiveness, event attendance, or financial results. Users are solely responsible for decisions made using the platform.
10. Paid Features & Subscriptions
Some features may require payment or subscription. By purchasing a subscription, you agree: to provide valid payment information; that recurring subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled; and that fees may change with notice. Unless otherwise stated: payments are non-refundable; and subscriptions may be canceled at any time for future billing periods. BandBlaze uses third-party payment processors. We do not store full payment card information.
11. Intellectual Property
The BandBlaze platform, branding, logos, design, software, and original content are owned by BandBlaze and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit any part of the Service without permission.
12. Copyright & DMCA
If you believe content on BandBlaze infringes your copyright, please contact: shawn@bandblaze.com. Include: identification of the copyrighted work; the allegedly infringing material; your contact information; a statement of good-faith belief; and a statement under penalty of perjury. BandBlaze may remove allegedly infringing content and terminate repeat infringers.
13. Third-Party Services & Links
BandBlaze may integrate with or link to third-party services, including: maps, payment processors, social platforms, music services, and analytics tools. We are not responsible for third-party services or content. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and policies.
14. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” BandBlaze makes no warranties regarding: uptime, reliability, accuracy, provider quality, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We disclaim all warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BandBlaze shall not be liable for: indirect damages, lost profits, business interruption, lost data, personal disputes, provider interactions, user conduct, or unauthorized access. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to BandBlaze in the 12 months preceding the claim.
16. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BandBlaze and its affiliates from claims arising from: your use of the Service; your content; your conduct; and your violation of these Terms.
17. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you violated these Terms or pose risk to the platform or community. You may stop using the Service at any time.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
19. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
